Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Infants in ICU who need invasive mechanical ventilation and meet the diagnostic criteria of severe respiratory syncytial virus pneumonia. Children aged > 28 days and <= 3 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children who had been given invasive mechanical ventilation for more than 24 hours before enrollment were excluded.
