Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Gastric cancer patients with chemotherapy: (1) Aged 18 or above; (2) Diagnosis of gastric cancer by clinical pathology; (3) ECOG score is less than or equal to 3 points; (4) Planning to receive chemotherapy; (5) Did not received any treatment in this hospital stady; (6) No malnutrition at the time of enrollment;(7) Informed consent to the study. Health control participants: (1) Aged 18 or above; (2) ECOG score is less than or equal to 3 points; (3) Did not received any treatment in this hospital stady; (4) No malnutrition at the time of enrollment; (5) Informed consent to the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Gastric cancer patients with chemotherapy and health control participants: (1) Uncontrolled diabetes; (2) Receiving glucocorticoid therapy; (3) Liver and/or renal failure.
