Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged >= 18 years; 2. Meet the diagnostic criteria of septic shock; 3. Patients requiring mechanical ventilation through endotracheal intubation; 4. No serious arrhythmia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. There are contraindications to volume expansion test: such as heart failure, pulmonary edema, etc.; 2. Lung protective ventilation is needed, and tidal volume >= 8ml/kg cannot be set due to disease restrictions; 3. there are serious arrhythmias, such as ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, etc.; 4. Ultrasound could not show the patient with apical four-chamber view and five-chamber view simultaneously; 5. Severe lesions such as arterial thrombosis or stenosis; 6. Abdominal hypertension syndrome; 7. Pregnant or lactating women.
