Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Adult patients who underwent tracheostomy after endotracheal intubation in intensive care units of our hospital. (2) Time of mechanical ventilation by endotracheal intubation >= 24h.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Patients whose medical records are incomplete or inaccurate. (2) Patients undergoing tracheostomy without endotracheal intubation. (3) Patients with successful tracheal extubation before tracheostomy. (4) Patients who are not tracheostomy for the first time. (5) Patients with history of tracheostomy.
