Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Conforms to the diagnostic criteria of epilepsy formulated by the International Anti-Epilepsy Union in 1981, and EEG examination indicates epilepsy; 2) The diagnosis of depression disorder met the relevant criteria in the Chinese Classification and Diagnostic Criteria for Mental Disorders (CCMD-3), and 24 items of the Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD) score >= 18 points; 3) No previous antidepressant treatment; 4) All patients gave informed consent to the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Complicated central nervous system diseases such as cerebral infarction and cerebral hemorrhage; 2) Complicated with other mental disorders; 3) Complicated with serious heart, liver and kidney diseases; 4) Pregnant and lactating women; 5) Severe suicidal tendencies; 6) A known history of alcohol or drug addiction or abuse; 7) Abnormal laboratory indicators existed before enrollment (such as transaminase exceeding 3 times the upper limit of normal, serum sodium lower than normal, white blood cell count < 2.8 x 10^9 / L, etc.); 8) Other experimental drugs were used before enrollment; 9) Unable to comply with treatment.
