Case series:Single or multiple FMT were performed via the working channel of the colonoscope or transendoscopic enteral tubing in 2 months. All patients were given concomitant oral mesalamine (4g/d)

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients aged >=18 years; 2. Meet the clinical diagnostic criteria of moderate to severe ulcerative colitis defined as a Mayo score >=6 and an endoscopic Mayo score >=2; 3. The patient had good compliance and were willing to complete the study and follow-up.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who had history of tumors, bowel surgeries, severe heart disease, kidney disease, neurological diseases, nutritional and metabolic diseases; 2. Patients who had infections of Clostridium difficile, Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Shigella; parasites; hepatitis viruses, HIV, CMV and EBV; 3. Within one month before FMT, the patient had used antibiotics.
