Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: In the baseline part of the database, only the most basic inclusion criteria are set 1. Subjects with unilateral/bilateral knee osteoarthritis and/or hip arthritis (M17/M16) diagnosed by clinicians; 2. Subjects aged more than 45 years old; Based on the baseline population of the database, the cohort follow-up population was screened, and the Shanghai osteoarthritis study was established. According to the above-mentioned special disease database standard, the included medical records were followed up and the corresponding data information was collected to observe and evaluate the impact of different existing diagnoses and treatment methods on the prognosis of osteoarthritis. The specific standards are as follows: (1) Permanent residence in the city; (2) Willing to be followed up at least once a year; (3) Willing to receive requested tests and examinations (for ACR and EULAR diagnostic criteria).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Subjects who could not understand written and spoken Chinese; 2. Subjects with any history of mental and psychological diseases; 3. Subjects who had suffered from malignant tumor in the past 5 years; 4. Subjects who are not permanent residents of the city (required by follow-up); 5. Subjects without possibility to assess their Kellgren Lawrence grades at the time of enrollment (required by follow-up); 6. Subjects who refused to be followed up at least once a year (required by follow-up).
