40 Years to 85 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged > 40 years; 2. NSCLC patients with planned pulmonary segmentectomy or lobectomy using Video-assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery after exclusion of relevant contraindications; 3. Signed informed consent to participate in this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The preoperative exclusion criteria were: 1. Severe metabolic disorder: poorly controlled diabetes, hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism; 2. Liver and kidney function damage: acute and chronic hepatitis, cirrhosis, liver insufficiency, chronic kidney disease, uremia; 3. Edema and pleural effusion; 4. Aged > 85 years; 5. BMI < 18.5kg/m2. The postoperative exclusion criteria were as follows: 1. Conversion to exploratory surgery and thoracotomy; 2. Loss of observational data due to non-death factors.
