Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients scheduled for sedation for painless diagnostic procedures were screened for inclusion in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) They were not administrated with chlorate hydrate as an initial sedative; 2) More than one sedative was given as the initial sedatives; 3) Non-drug sedative techniques were used; 4) Patients with incomplete data; 5) Patients was on assisted ventilation.
