20 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Male or female aged > 20 years; 2) Requiring sinus floor elevation to increase alveolar bone height; 3) The height of alveolar crest in edentulous area to maxillary sinus floor was 4-6 mm (the midpoint of edentulous area was measured by CBCT coronal and sagittal); 4) The width of residual alveolar bone in edentulous area measured by CBCT >=6 mm; 5) In the past, he was healthy and able to accept local anesthesia; 6) Chronic periodontitis patients were first treated with chronic periodontitis, and then recruited into this study after periodontal health was stable; 7) Patients who need to implantation should be treated with maxillary sinus floor elevation at least 3 months after tooth loss; 8) Good oral hygiene habits.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients with heart disease, hypertension and other systemic diseases can not accept local anesthesia surgery; 2) Pregnant and lactating women during recruitment; 3) Disabled people unable to clean their own oral hygiene; 4) Smoking more than 10 cigarettes a day; 5) Cyst of maxillary sinus; 6) History of local radiotherapy; 7) Habit of clenching or severe abrasion; 8) Patients with acute or chronic maxillary sinusitis; 9) The edentulous area has received bone augmentation surgery or implant surgery; 10) Benign or malignant tumors in maxillary sinus region; 11) Patients with mental disorders.
