Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who have core symptoms of encephalitis, including fever, headache, epileptic seizures, mental and behavioral disorders, cognitive and language disorders, and impaired consciousness. They will be diagnosed and treated in the Department of Neurology, Shenzhen Baoan Shiyan People's Hospital from March 2020 to November 2020.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who do not agree to have EEG, MRI, CSF cytology, and CSF etiology secondary-generation sequenced during.
