Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Aged >=18 years; 2) Patients who intend to undergo elective surgery under general anesthesia; 3) Patients at high risk of postoperative nausea and vomiting. Using the Apfel concise risk factor score, patients with the following 3 or more factors are considered high-risk patients: women, non-smokers, history of PONV, postoperative use of opioids.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) Decline to participate; 2) History of schizophrenia, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease or myasthenia gravis; 3) Severe liver dysfunction (Child-Pugh class C); 4) Severe renal dysfunction (dialysis required); 5) ASA grade 4 and above; 6) Emergency surgery; 7) Taking benzodiazepines continuously for more than 1 week before surgery.
