Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. The patient's cognitive impairment was confirmed by the informed person; 2. one or more cognitive domains were damaged by objective examination; 3. clinical dementia rating (CDR) score was 0.5; 4. activities of daily living were normal; 5. MMSE 24 to 28; Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS) <9; 6. stable and reliable caregivers; 7. aged 55 to 75 years; 8. informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. combined with acute and chronic cerebrovascular disease, encephalitis, Parkinson's disease and other central nervous system diseases; 2. hypothyroidism, vitamin B12 deficiency, depression, syphilis and other diseases that may affect cognitive decline; 3. GDS >=9 points; 4. severe hearing and visual impairment, unable to complete neuropsychological tests; 5. liver and kidney function, hematopoietic system; 6. the use of antibiotics and probiotics within one month; 7. inflammatory gastrointestinal diseases, irritable bowel syndrome, chronic constipation, chronic diarrhea, Helicobacter pylori infection (untreated) and other diseases affecting the intestinal flora; 8. the exclusion of fusion flake white matter lesions; 9. poor compliance, other conditions not suitable for acupuncture treatment.
