Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Men with age >= 18 years and ASA status 1-2 grade scheduled for primary anastomotic posterior urethroplasty using inverted Y shaped lambda incision were enrolled.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria were psychiatric disorders, inability to cooperate or communicate in Chinese, chronic pain, ingestion of any pain medication, loss of pain perception in the surgical area, contra-indications to nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, and contra-indications to regional anesthesia.
