Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Aged 18-75 ye1rs, male or female patients; (2) Proximal gastric adenocarcinoma (including gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma type II/III) patients at stage T1-4a, with clear pathological diagnosis, and no distant metastases such as liver and lung and peritoneal metastasis on imaging, can be resected radically evaluated by surgeons and imaging physicians; (3) No history of other malignant tumors; (4) The heart, liver, lung and kidney functions are basically normal, with an ECOG score of 0-1; (5) Emergency surgery is unnecessary judged by surgeons; (6) Follow up for 5 years or the patient dies.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Remnant gastric cancer; (2) Stage IV patients confirmed by postoperative pathology (16LNs metastasis or positive exfoliated cancer cells in the abdominal cavity); (3) Borrmann III (tumor diameter greater than 8cm) or IV type, tumor invasion the middle of stomach; (4) Receiving neoadjuvant chemotherapy; (5) Multiple gastric cancer (lesions >= 2); (6) Patients with R1/R2 resection confirmed by postoperative pathology; (7) Combined with other type of tumor.
