Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The outpatients and inpatients of the First Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University (our hospital) meet the diagnostic criteria for elderly hypertension (according to the "Guidelines for the Management of Elderly Hypertension in China 2019": (1) Aged >= 65 years. (2) In the case of not using antihypertensive drugs, measure blood pressure three times on different days, systolic blood pressure >= 140mHg (1mmHg=0.133kPa) and/or diastolic blood pressure >= 90mHg. (3) Elderly people who have been clearly diagnosed with hypertension and are being treated with antihypertensive drugs. Meet item 1 + item 2 or item 1 + item 3; Patient signs informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Severe illness or terminal illness: life expectancy <1 year; 2. Malignant tumors; 3. Acute trauma; 4. Acute infection; 5. Perioperative period; 4. Severe heart failure (H-Y grade 3-4); 5. Acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease; 6. Have a major disability; 7. Have a mental disorder; 8. Have severe cognitive impairment; 9. There are dysfunctions in voluntary activities; 10. Those who cannot cooperate to complete the muscle function assessment; Any one of the above cannot be added to this research project.
