43 Years to 73 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 18-70 years; 2. Bilateral knees with Grade II-III osteoarthritis, identified by two different observers, according to the Kellgren-Lawrence grading scale; 3. Bilateral knees with initial pain evaluated at 4 or greater on a 10-point Visual Analog Scale (VAS); 4. Patient is able to understand the instructions given by the study doctors; 5. Signing informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Secondary arthritis (for example, secondary knee osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gouty arthritis, and previous articular fractures); 2. Contraindicating MRI examination; 3. History of liposarcoma and other cancers; 4. Intra-articular injection of hyaluronic acid (HA) or other drugs in the preceding 2 months; 5. End-stage (Grade 4) OA; 6. Serological positive of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV); 7. Abdominal hernia, and coagulopathy.
