Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. ICU patient >= 18 years; 2. Ready for the frst SBT attempt; 3. Hemodynamically stable (heart rate <110 bpm,dopa or dobuta <= 5ug/kg.min, nora <= 2ug/min); 4. PEEP <= 8cmH2O, FiO2 <= 0.5;PH 7.35 or higher.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Rib fracture, thoracic deformity and diaphragmatic hernia may lead to difficulty in examination; 2. Pregnancy; 3. Patients who cannot perform SBT; 4. Severe respiratory center depression, neuromuscular lesions; 5. Esophageal obstruction, esophageal perforation, severe esophageal varicose hemorrhage, upper gastrointestinal surgery; 6. Severe heart, liver, kidney and other organ failure, hemodynamic instability; 7. Patients with severe coagulation dysfunction; 8. Terminal stage of tumor.
