Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) At least one CTO lesion located in the proximal or mid portion of the epicardial artery with a diameter over 2mm; 2) LVEF < 50 % confirmed by echocardiography, SPECT or cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR); 3) Symptomatic angina and/or a positive functional ischaemia test.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Medical therapy alone; 2) CTO located in the branch vessel or in the distal lesion; 3) CABG history; 4) ST-segment elevation acute myocardial infarction (MI) within 48 hours; 5) Malignant tumor.
