Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1) Children and their mothers with complete clinical information born in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department of Nanjing Gulou Hospital from March 2014 to February 2015. 2) Willing to participate in this study and sign the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1) The parental generation has developed hypertension and diabetes mellitus prior to conception. 2) The presence of other gestational diseases in the progeny other than gestational diabetes mellitus and gestational hypertension that can affect the offspring's ocular development, central system development or cause adverse birth events, including: folic acid deficiency, iron deficiency anemia, ectopic pregnancy, placenta praevia, toxoplasmosis, cytomegalovirus, rubella, Zika virus, HIV, etc. 3) organic eye lesions or developmental abnormalities in the progeny, such as: microphthalmia syndrome, DRS syndrome, petunia syndrome, FEVR, PHPV. 4) History of severe ocular trauma and surgery in the progeny. 5) presence of organic eye pathology or developmental abnormalities in the offspring, e.g. microphthalmia, DRS syndrome, petunia syndrome, FEVR, PHPV. 6) History of severe ocular trauma, surgery in the offspring. 7) Presence of systemic diseases in the offspring, e.g., trisomy 21, systemic lupus erythematosus 8) Presence of psychiatric disorders or communication disorders in the offspring, e.g., autism.
