Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The patient was confirmed with bacterial infection and the sequential organ failure score (SOFA) score at the time of admission to ICU was >= 2 points.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Aged < 18 years; 2. Interferon and granulocyte colony stimulating factor were used; 3. Unwilling to participate in the research for various reasons.
