Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with artificial airway mechanical ventilation were selected from the department of critical care medicine of the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University since March 2017.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Those who had pre-intubation pneumonia, developed pneumonia < 48 h after the start of mechanical ventilation or were diagnosed with immunocompromised status or HIV were excluded.
