Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Inpatients or outpatients. (2) Meet the diagnostic criteria of DSM- IV for monophasic depressive episode. (3) Aged 60-80 years, male or female. (4) Primary school or more than 5 years of education. (5) The informed consent form signed by the patient or his legal guardian.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Exclusion of patients with bipolar disorder, schizophrenia or dementia. (2) Those with poor visual and auditory function or somatic diseases were excluded from cognitive and emotional assessment. (3) Exclusion of patients with severe negativity. (4) Excluding patients with unstable somatic diseases. (5) Excluding patients with dementia or delirium.
