Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with oral mechanical ventilation, aged over 18 years old; 2. Patients with DE < 10 mm and DTF < 20% were selected by ultrasound measurement on the day of admission and daily morning rounds; 3. Patients with cardiac function above grade IV, no serious renal insufficiency and good nutritional status; 4. Informed consent was signed by family members of patients.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Contraindications of phrenic nerve stimulation (cardiac pacemaker, serious arrhythmia, pneumothorax, active pulmonary tuberculosis, pleural adhesion thickening, etc.); 2. Patients with pregnancy and mental illness; 3. Lack of window to see diaphragm thickness and mobility, such as patients with thoracoabdominal wound not allowed to use ultrasound; 4. Patients with high intra-abdominal pressure; 5. During mechanical ventilation, glucocorticoid and aminoglycoside antibiotics were used; 6. Patients with sepsis, hemodynamic instability and ejection fraction less than 30%.
