Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients were aged 18 to 35 years, all were at 37 to 42 weeks gestation, and all were classified as ASA grade I to II. All women had normal prenatal examinations, normal liver, and renal function before caesarean delivery, and had no medical history of heart or lung diseases. There were no abnormalities on fetal screening.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Women were excluded from the study if they had the following: hypertension (systolic blood pressure [SBP] > 140 mm Hg or diastolic blood pressure [DBP] > 90 mm Hg); cardiovascular and/or cerebrovascular diseases; placenta previa; abnormal fetaldevelopment; contraindications for intraspinal anesthesia, or endocrine disorders such as diabetes mellitus;
