Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Subjects meeting the clinical diagnostic criteria of knee osteoarthritis; 2. Radiological evidence showed that osteoarthritis was evaluated from Kellgren – Lawrence grade 1 (suspected narrowing, possible osteophyte) to grade 4 (Kellgren – Lawrence score was the highest, indicating large osteophyte and significant narrowing of joint space); 3. Subjects who palpate one or more active or potential pain points in the skeletal muscle of one lower limb; 4. Subjects older than or equal to 38 years old.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Subjects who received glucocorticoid injection in the past year; 2. Subjects with rheumatoid arthritis or similar rheumatic diseases now or in the past; 3. Subjects with gout or pseudogout of the knee now or in the past; 4. Subjects with active infection of knee joint in the past year; 5. In the activities of sitting, standing, walking or climbing stairs, subjects with other physical diseases were more limited or painful than knee osteoarthritis; 6. Subjects who are pregnant or ready for pregnancy; 7. Subjects with contraindications to corticosteroid injection.
