Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Late preterm infants: 34-36+6 weeks gestational age at birth, appropriate for gestational age, classified as high risk LPI and low risk LPI based on the presence of co-morbid perinatal conditions (perinatal conditions include: hypoglycaemia, metabolic acidosis, apnoea, premature rupture of membranes, less than gestational age, sepsis, ductus arteriosus, pneumonia, etc.). Hearing screening was passed for infants with both parents of Chinese nationality and both native Chinese speakers.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Severe asphyxia, neurological disease or significant neurological symptoms, severe congenital disease.
