40 Years to 100 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) chronic obstructive pulmonary disease: FEV1/FVC < 0.70; (2) Stable period of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease; (3) Possible sarcopenia: recommended according to the 2019 Asian expert consensus; (4) Age: 40 years old or above; (5) Subjects voluntarily participate and sign informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Cognitive impairment; (2) Diagnosed with cardiovascular, metabolic or renal disease and any symptoms or signs associated with cardiovascular, metabolic or kidney disease; (3) Complicated with pulmonary bullae, pneumothorax and malignant tumor; (4) Contraindications to exercise: for example, there is a limb fracture or major operations in the last 3 months; (5) Unable to walk independently, such as in a wheelchair or using a walker; (6) Subjects participated in other regular exercise or studies 3 months prior to enrollment; (7) Subjects have metal implants in their bodies cannot participate in body composition measurement by Human composition analyzer. (8) women in pregnancy or lactation; (9) Participating in any other clinical trials within the past 6 months; (10) Disease that interfere with measurement of muscle strength; (11) Impaired hearing and/or vision; (12) Unable to understand and/or speak Mandarin.
