Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. The age is 18 to 55 years old. 2. The patients who were clinically diagnosed as ischemic stroke were examined by MRI and the RoPE score was more than 6. 3. Diagnosed as PFO with right-to-left shunt by TEE and cTTE, and complete data were obtained. 4. This ischemic stroke can not be explained by other reasons. 5. Be willing to participate in this study and sign the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. High-risk atherosclerotic plaques in ascending aorta, aortic arch and cervical arteries were assessed by CTA and TEE. 2. High-risk cardiac emboli, such as atrial fibrillation, coronary heart disease, thrombus, valvular vegetation, etc., are indicated by electrocardiogram and 24-hour ambulatory electrocardiogram ((Holter), TTE or TEE). 3. Other causes of ischemic stroke: arterial dissection, vasculitis, moyamoya disease, coagulation dysfunction, arteriole occlusion. 4. Complicated with severe heart, lung and other major diseases, can not cooperate well to complete the examination, or the researchers think that it is not suitable to be included in this test.
