Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The indications were: patients with large complete staghorn renal stones (nearly involving all collecting system), poor performance status (higher Charlson Comorbidity Index and with diabetes mellitus), positive urine culture or systemic inflammatory response syndrome before surgery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Contraindication were previous history of transperitoneal surgery.
