Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Male and female healthy volunteers of 18 years or older with an American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status classification score I-II.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Psychiatric disorders; inability to cooperate or communicate in Chinese; chronic pain; long-term or short-term ingestion of any pain medication; lower limb neuropathy; and contra-indications for regional anesthesia (coagulopathy, local infection at the block site, allergy to local anesthetic).
