Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Community 35-75-year-old essential hypertension patients with high risk of cardiovascular disease.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Taking >= 3 antihypertensive drugs; acute phase of stroke, myocardial infarction, and heart failure.
