Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Those meeting the following criteria were included in this study: 1. Subjects aged from 18 to 70 years old; 2. The subjects who had smoked more than 5 years had smoked more than 10 cigarettes a day in the past 12 months; 3. Subjects with exhaled carbon monoxide >= 10 ppm at baseline; 4. Subjects meeting the diagnostic criteria of tobacco dependence, i.e. subjects who have experienced or demonstrated at least 3 of the following 6 items in the past year: Strong craving for smoking; It is difficult to control smoking behavior; When smoking stopped or reduced, withdrawal symptoms appeared; Tobacco tolerance performance, that is, it needs to increase the amount of smoking in order to obtain the feeling of smoking that can be obtained by smoking a small amount of tobacco in the past; Giving up or reducing other activities and preferences for smoking; Insist on smoking regardless of the harm of smoking; 5. Subjects who are willing to accept smoking cessation treatment and sign informed consent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Those who met any of the following criteria were excluded from this study: 1. Subjects allergic to nicotine, varenicline, bupropion or similar components; 2. Subjects who received other smoking cessation treatment within 30 days; 3. Pregnant or lactating women; 4. Patients with severe heart, lung, brain and blood system diseases, including but not limited to patients with hypertension within 2 weeks after acute myocardial infarction, severe arrhythmia, unstable angina pectoris and poor drug control; 5. Patients with mental illness and drug abuse; 6. Patients with maxillofacial diseases who cannot use chewing gum; 7. Subjects judged by the researcher to be in other diseases or mental states unable to meet the research requirements.
