Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients aged >= 16 years and <= 80 years with essential hypertension diagnosed in our department. 2. The subjects in the hypertension group and the healthy control group had no history of other systemic diseases or other intraocular diseases (including diabetic retinopathy, macular edema, macular hole, epimacular membrane, age-related macular degeneration, retinal detachment, retinal vascular occlusion, central serous chorioretinopathy, uveitis, optic neuropathy, etc.). 3. There was no history of intraocular surgery, intraocular injection, fundus laser, ocular trauma, glaucoma and suspected glaucoma (large cup-disc ratio, asymmetric cup-disc ratio, defect or narrow rim, optic disc hemorrhage or suspected changes of nerve fiber layer). 4. First-degree family members of non-glaucoma patients.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Do comprehensive physical examination and eye examination for patients, including systemic examination, best corrected visual acuity, intraocular pressure, eye axis measurement, computer optometry, slit lamp examination, fundus photography, OCTA. The exclusion criteria included: 1. Primary or other secondary retinal diseases; 2. inability to complete OCTA examination; 3. severe corneal leukoplakia, cataract, strabismus, nystagmus, etc.; 4. severe ametropia (> + 300 / <-600); 5. IOP was not in the range of 10-21mmHg; 6. OCTA scan quality < 7.
