Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Individuals under 18 years old meeting eligibility criteria at the first presentation were included. 2. HCM was defined by the presence of imaging findings suggesting that ventricular wall or maximum diastolic septal thickness exceeded 2 standard deviations of the mean of normal children of the same age and sex or adjusted for body surface area, and could not be explained solely by hemodynamic changes.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Other treatable causes of left ventricular hypertrophy, such as hemodynamic changes, pulmonary parenchyma or pulmonary vascular diseases, endocrine diseases, rheumatic immune diseases, chronic arrhythmias, exposure to cardiotoxic factors, etc.
