Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients with refractory gastroesophageal reflux disease with esophageal motility disorders: (1) Aged 18-80 years; (2) After 8 weeks of oral treatment with double standard dose of PPI, there was no significant improvement in symptoms such as reflux and heartburn. (3) Patients with esophageal motility disorders confirmed by HREM examination; (4) Have not taken prokinetic drugs or drugs that may inhibit gastric acid secretion in the past 1 week; have corresponding objective examinations (gastroscopy, upper gastrointestinal barium meal contrast or CT, blood biochemistry, etc.) within the past 1 year to rule out organic diseases of the digestive system; (5) Volunteer to join this study, can cooperate to complete the esophageal pH-impedance monitoring, STEA treatment, HRV testing, filling out the scale, and blood collection. Healthy volunteers: (1) Aged 18-80 years; (2) There were no chronic diseases and clinical symptoms; (3) Gerd-Q and HADS were negative; (4) HREM was normal; (5) Volunteer to participate in the study and sign informed consent; (6) Blood samples were collected voluntarily and also HRV detection.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with refractory gastroesophageal reflux disease with esophageal motility disorders: (1) Severe complications (such as uncontrollable hypertension or gastrointestinal bleeding, severe heart and lung diseases, etc.); (2) Any grade of esophageal intraepithelial neoplasia or esophageal cancer, esophageal polyps, esophageal varices or ulcers, previous history of esophageal or stomach surgery, esophageal hiatus hernia; (3) Nasopharyngeal obstruction; (4) People with major mental illness, communication disorder, or unconsciousness; (5) Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding; (6) Familiar with acupuncture, acupoints or meridian therapy; (7) Allergic to medical electrodes. Healthy volunteers:Same as above.
