Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The inclusion criteria were the age of >= 18 years, and a positive real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (PCR) finding from an airway specimen. Viral specimens were collected from the patients via nasopharyngeal swab, whereas lower airway specimens were obtained via endotracheal tube and bronchoalveolar lavage fluid.
