Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) treated with percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) and on antiplatelet therapy with tegretol (180 mg loading dose and/or 90 mg twice daily maintenance dose).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Meet any one of the following (1) Aged = 85 years. (2) Allergy to or intolerance of Tegretol. (3) Respiratory disease: chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, bronchial asthma, pulmonary embolism, acute respiratory distress syndrome. (4) Cardiac insufficiency [left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) 2 times the upper limit of normal, eGFR <30 mL/min]. (6) Active pepticulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding. (7) History of hemorrhagic stroke within 6 months. (8) Unstable, uncontrolled hypertension and diabetes mellitus despite aggressive treatment. (9) Poor compliance with the dose or regimen prescribed by the study protocol.
