Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. premature or term infants admitted to the NICU of each hospital during the study, <35 weeks of gestational age; <=28 days of age, diagnosed with sudden unexpected postnatal collapse (SUPC) or sudden death in newborn(SDN); 2. Sudden unexpected postnatal collapse occurs in term or near-term newborns who are healthy at birth, have 5-minute Apgar scores of 8 or more, and then experience cardiorespiratory collapse within the first week of life; 3. SDN refers to apparent life-threatening events occur in healthy or stable or "slight" newborns, who are suddenly pale, loss of consciousness, respiratory arrest, hypotonic, cyanosis, died after resuscitation.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Premature infants with gestational age <35 weeks; Apgar score < 8 at 5 or 10 minutes; Neonatal death due to violent trauma; Have birth defects.
