Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Healthy volunteers; 2. Chronic Hepatitis B Patients: the CHB patients were diagnosed based on increased alanine aminotransferase levels (above the upper limit of the normal range) in at least two blood samples assayed over a 6-month period and the presence of detectable hepatitis B surface antigen and/or HBV DNA; 3. Portal hypertension patients: patients with definite diagnosis of cirrhosis and diagnosis of gastroesophageal varices confirmed through an endoscopic exam.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Liver or other organ malignancies before or during the first admission period; 2. Have suffered from severe cardiovascular system, digestive system, respiratory system, urinary system and other organ dysfunction or insufficiency during past or enrollment; 3. Combined with systemic infection at the time of enrollment; 4. Patients undergoing liver transplantation, splenectomy, TIPSS, surgical disconnection and shunt before enrollment; 5.Those who used of probiotics, antibiotics, antifungal drugs, hormones, etc. that affect the micro-ecological status within one month; 6. Severe neurological or psychiatric disorders; 7. Alcohol abuse and/or other drug overuse; 8. Pregnant and lactating women.
