Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Planed to undergo Thoracic surgery; ASA grade I-II; Aged 18 to 75 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients were excluded if they had clinically important cardiovascular diseases, were unable to perform the visual analogue scale, had previous thoracic surgeries or their proposed surgery was converted from thoracoscopic surgery to open thoracotomy. Patients were also excluded if cutaneous infections were noted near the blocksites, when coagulation was abnormal or if allergies to local anaesthetics were suspected.
