Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Unilateral initial THA; (2) Preoperative American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) grade I-III; (3) No additional glucose and insulin intake during the perioperative period.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Suppurative arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and other fractures; (2) Diabetes, poorly controlled hypertension, severe cardiopulmonary disease, liver and kidney dysfunction, malignant tumors, autoimmune or inflammatory diseases.
