Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Type 2 diabetes mellitus with or without hyperlipidemia; 2. At least 18 years old.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who have used antibiotics or probiotics within 3 months; 2. Patients who have undergone major gastrointestinal surgery (including gastrointestinal tract, cholecystectomy and appendectomy) within 5 years; 3. Patients with inflammatory bowel disease, including ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, etc; 4. Patients with irritable bowel syndrome; 5. Patients with diarrhea of unknown origin and chronic constipation.
