Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Chlidren aged between 3 and 6 years, ASA physical status I or II,BMI 15-20kg/m2, scheduled for elective strabismus surgery under general anesthesia were enrolled.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children with a history of neurological and mental illness, important organ comorbidities, developmental delay, preoperative use of analgesic and sedative drugs, respiratory system infection, and recent experience of stressful life events. were excluded.
