Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Elderly are equal or older than 60 years will be recruited from the local community health service center in China. Elderly will be included if they are diagnosed with normal cognition and aMCI according to the following Petersen diagnostic criteria by the trained psychometrist and the experienced neuropsychologist. Cognitive normal diagnostic criteria: 1) No subjective memory complaint; 2) Neuropsychological tests showed no evidence of objective cognitive function decline; 3) Overall clinical dementia assessment (CDR) =0; 4) Conduct activities of daily living independently. MCI diagnostic criteria: 1) subjective memory complaint or confirmed by a informed person; 2) Demonstrated impairment of memory or other cognitive functions on objective tests, less than 1.5 standard deviations of the same age and education level; 3) Overall cognitive function is relatively intact; 4) The ability of activities of daily living is not affected.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Elderly will be excluded from the study if they have dementia with a CDR rating larger than or equal to 1, any diseases that may cause cognitive impairment including but not limited to neurological diseases and mental illness, any conditions known to affect cognitive performance, such as severe hearing and visual impairment and take drugs that can affect cognitive function in the past 30 days before screening.
