3 Years to 5 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Children aged 3 to 5 years old; (2) Three or more wheezing episodes; (3) Asthma diagnosed by a pediatric pulmonologist.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Mental retardation, cardiac anomalies, congenital malformations, other diseases of the lungs/airways, and Crohn's disease or rheumatic arthritis; (2) The inability to perform lung function tests or inflammatory biomarker measurements; (3) A history of lower respiratory tract infection within 2 weeks before the tests.
