Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Benign group: 1. Cytologically confirmed benign nodules A, Ti-RADS type 2-3 (according to classification system); 2. Subjective symptoms, such as neck discomfort or pain, pressure, foreign body sensation; 3. Affect the appearance; 4. Not suitable or refused to operate; 5. Fear of developing into malign. Malignant group: 1. Patients with malignant tumor confirmed by pathology (CNB); 2. Receive RFA treatment; 3. No external thyroid invasion, lymph node metastasis or distant metastasis were detected by ultrasound; 4. Follow-up time was longer than 6 months; 5. Unable or refused surgery
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Benign group: 1. Puncture proved to be malignant; 2. The ultrasound showed malignant signs (aspect ratio > 1, microcalcification, very low echo, unclear boundary), although the puncture results were benign. Malignant group: 1. Multiple malignant tumors; 2. Metastatic carcinoma; 3. Severe coagulation disorders, respiratory failure, myocardial infarction, systemic infection, or uncontrolled diabetes; 4. Neuropsychiatric disorders or neck extension disorders that lead to RFA intolerance; 5. Pacemaker implantation; 6. Contralateral vocal cord paralysis; 7. Allergic to sulfur hexafluoride microbubbles; 8. Incomplete case data.
