Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged >= 40 years; 2. Meet the diagnostic criteria of AECOPD according to the GOLD 2019; 3. Be able to complete the CAT and mMRC questionnaires independently.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Suffering from other active or chronic respiratory diseases (such as asthma, pneumonia, bronchiectasis, severe sequelae of pulmonary tuberculosis, or lung cancer); 2. Using oral or intravenous glucocorticoids within 48 hours prior to admission; 3. Patients with severe intellectual or cognitive impairments; 4. Participation in any interventional clinical trials.
