Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients with the diagnosis of degenerative cervical myelopathy; 2.Patients with no history of cervical trauma or spinal surgery; 3.Patients with complete radiological data, including preoperative and postoperative cervical X-ray film, CT and MRI; 4.Patients who comply with the classification of increased signal intensity on T2-Weighted MRI.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with severe primary diseases such as liver, kidney, hematopoietic system, endocrine system and psychosis; 2.Patients with cervical kyphosis > 13 degrees; 3.Patients with ankylosing spondylitis or rheumatoid arthritis; 4.Patients with neuromuscular diseases, infections and tumors.
