18 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Chinese adults; 2. sufficient computer or smartphone literacy and access to internet; 3. able to privide informed consent 4. a score on the Kessler-10 >= 22; 5. no prior participation in an MBSR course or MBCT course; 6. no regular meditation practice (or any other form of meditative practice, such as yoga or contemplative prayer) for more than an average of 20 minutes a week within the past 6 months; 7. accept the randomization procedure; 8. able to attend MBI classes at designated times, no schedule conflicts; 9. willing to commit to daily home practice of mindfulness exercises;undergoing current psychological treatment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Serious unstable illness, such as bronchitis, cardiovascular disease( heart disease etc.), neurological diseases; 2. Seizure disorder; 3. a lifetime history of schizophrenia bipolar disorder or any other psychosis; 4. Suicidal ideation or attempta; 5. history of alcohol dependence or substance use disorder; 6. antisocial personality disorder.
